What is the difference between traditional neon and LED neon signs?
Unlike traditional neon signs that use glass tubes filled with neon gas, LED neon signs use flexible LED tubing that is covered with a protective silicone jacket. This modern alternative is more energy-efficient, lightweight, and durable than traditional neon signs. Instead of being electrified like traditional neon signs, LED neon signs emit a bright, colourful light using LED technology.
Are LED neon signs as bright as traditional neon signs?
LED neon signs are equally bright, if not brighter, than traditional neon signs. This is because the LED lights can be adjusted to create a brighter and more intense glow. Additionally, LED neon signs offer the ability to customise colours and effects, making them a versatile and dynamic lighting solution. All our Neon Signs come with a dimmer to give you control over the brightness.
Which type of sign is more energy-efficient?
Compared to traditional neon signs, LED neon signs are more energy-efficient. This is because LED technology consumes less energy to produce the same amount of light as traditional neon signs. As a result, energy costs and environmental impact can be reduced. In addition, LED neon signs have a longer lifespan than traditional neon signs, which means they require replacement less frequently.
Which type of sign is more durable?
LED neon signs are known for their durability when compared to traditional neon signs. Unlike traditional neon signs, which use fragile glass tubes that can be easily broken or damaged, LED neon signs use flexible tubing that is encased in a protective silicone jacket. This design makes them more resistant to damage from impacts, vibrations, or extreme temperatures, and therefore less costly to repair. Designing Your Custom Neon
How do I get a quote for a custom neon sign?
You have two options to receive a quote for your neon sign:
Option one is to fill out our "Upload Image/Logo" form by clicking on the link provided. This form allows you to provide detailed information about your sign, such as its size, desired colours, and any supporting imagery or references. After submitting the form, our team will respond within 24-48 hours with a design and quote for your LED neon sign.
It's worth noting that designing your own Neon Sign doesn't come at a premium, and most designs will have costs that are relative to the products shown on the website - so don't be shy with sending us your ideas, it's nice to create something personal, or something perfect for your event or business!
Option two, is to use our "Create You Own Neon" tool, which allows you to design your sign in real time. With this tool, you can choose from various fonts, colours, backing options, and other features to create your ideal design. As you make your selections, the tool will display the price of your sign. Once you are satisfied with your design and price, you can proceed to checkout and pay for your sign directly.

What if I want a sign that's not available in your custom tool?
Our online create your own neon is perfect for creating neon word signs, personalised name signs, and neon light quotes. But we understand that you may have a unique and intricate vision for your sign that cannot be designed using our tool. In that case, we would be delighted to collaborate with you to bring your vision to life.

What are the colour options available for my sign?
We offer a variety of 22 colours that you can choose from, including warm white, cool white, different shades of pink, blue, purple, red, yellow, orange, and green. Each of these colours can give your sign a unique look and feel, making it stand out in any setting.
Some Colour options included coloured 'jackets', which means they remain a certain colour when turned off, other than white.

Apart from these standard colour options, we also provide an RGB option at an additional cost. This allows you to change the colour of your sign using a remote control, giving you the freedom to adjust the look of your sign to suit your mood, the occasion, or even the time of day. This can be an excellent way to keep your sign interesting and captivating, ensuring it always looks its best.

Do you offer multiple backing options?
We provide our customers with various backing options for our LED neon signs. You can choose from cut-to-shape, cut-to-letter, and rectangle cut backing shapes based on your preferences and requirements, as well as different mountings.

Lastly, we can also use Metal, Wood and Mirror as a backboard option. Neon on a mirror backboard looks pretty amazing!
Do you offer UV printing (printed imagery with neon lights)?
Certainly, we offer UV printing services for our LED neon signs. If you have a specific design in mind that you'd like to include in your sign, simply send us the file in ESP format, and we'll provide you with a mockup along with your LED neon design.
UV printing is a top-quality printing technique that enables us to print your design directly onto the sign's backing material, resulting in a durable and long-lasting image that won't fade or peel over time. This is an excellent way to incorporate your branding or other custom graphics into your LED neon sign, allowing you to create a truly distinctive and attention-grabbing display.
UV printing is also ideal for including small details or text that may be challenging to produce using only LED neon tubing.
What is the smallest size for my LED neon sign?
The smallest size of your LED neon sign will vary depending on the complexity of your design. The size must be large enough to bend the neon rope to match your design. Typically, the minimum size sign would start from 20cm.
To determine the minimum size of your LED neon sign, we recommend submitting your design for review. Our team of experts will evaluate the complexity of your design and recommend a minimum size that ensures the best possible results.
Can you provide LED neon signs for outdoor use?
Yes, we can offer a waterproofed sign option for customers who wish to use their custom LED neon sign outdoors or in locations where it may be exposed to water on a temporary basis, however, we generally do not produce signs that are designed to be kept outdoors, because there are many limitations to the types of designs that can allow this i.e. it limits the cutting, shaping and bending options. Our outdoor neon signs are highly water resistant, and we use an 8mm acrylic backing with a high weather tolerance, as well as anti-yellowing virgin silicone and double sided waterproof glue on the application of the silicone jacket.

It's important to note that while our outdoor signage range is highly water-resistant, it is not designed for underwater use.
All our standard standard LED neon signs can be used at outdoor events or short-term applications in fair weather, but they are not watertight and should not be exposed to wet weather, extreme temperatures, or locations where they may get wet.
Will I receive a design proof before production?
If you've purchased your LED neon sign through our instant quote tool, we'll proceed with production right away unless you request a design proof. However, if you're getting a custom quote, we'll provide you with a mockup of your design before we begin production. This mockup will be included with your quote so that you can visualize how your finished sign will look.
We understand that seeing your design before production is important to ensure it meets your expectations. Our team is committed to delivering custom LED neon signs that accurately reflect your vision, and we strive to provide high-quality mockups that capture the essence of your design.
Do you genuinely handcraft your signs?
Absolutely. Our signs are meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans who ensure that each sign is carefully made and inspected to meet our rigorous standards for design and quality.
As our signs are handmade, please be aware that you’ll be receiving a handmade product, which may have some small imperfections on the edges, depending on the type of backboard used. We also use a special glue to attach the Neon Tubing; however, none of these possible imperfections can be seen once the light is on.
